Are You A Good Writer? Let Me Help You To Improve Your Writing Style

I am asking you perhaps million $ question.Do you think you are a good Writer? Perhaps many of you will say ‘Yes’ because most of the time, you are the only judge for your writing style. Have you ever imagined that how you can improve your writing and make more money? Yes You can. So have you thought your current writing style is perfect? Although it is very important to choose a catchy title of your article, but still you need to consider the writing style you normally use at the time to write your content. No matters what title you chose to write, it will always better to consider writing elements to improvise your writing style and above all to build your own writing style.

Writing style of every person is different, and it also varies from one blog to the other. If there are many blogs on your daily reading list, then probably you understand what I want to say. You will observer whom many blogs are more specific about technical details while on others you will feel article author is trying to speak with you personally. I want to mention here specifically about hubpages as I personally feel that writers at hubpage.com give you personal touch. On the same manner, what you people will say about mashable.com. I am hoping your feedback in comments.

The aim of this article is to help my fellows and readers to find ways to improve their writing experiences and make this journey fulfilling and enjoyable. What II do after some hectic research and with discussion of some great writers on the web, I gather all the observations in some rules that we are using in our writing, and I hope that application of these rules will certainly help you to improve your writing style.

Rule #1 –: Write, Write and Write

If you want to boost your writing skills, all you need to do is to write, write and write often. I think you all know that practice makes perfect whatever writing style you want to develop. You can start with writing a simple story, fiction or maybe a product or movie review. What you people say about writing poems or writing something funny?

So if you have been motivated and have some experiences, try to read other people literary works. Try to read some good novels and appealing books. I will suggest to read magazines and specific how to books. After reading these books and magazines, not only you will gather a lot of options to write but also your vocabulary exposure will be improved. And about topics, horizon is unlimited

Don’t assume you will be able to write with perfection at the beginning, and you shouldn’t be. However, why need to worry? Every writer has started out in the same manner to achieve his comfortable writing style for any topic. After when you will have some experience of writing, you realize which writing style is comfortable for you to express your feelings and thoughts.

Rule #2 – Be Clear and Concise

Use simple words so that your readers can easily understand them. Try to avoid use of acronyms where possible. Don’t use difficult vocabulary for which your readers need to consult with any dictionary. Try to use such words which you use in your real life because they sound naturally. Don’t ever try to enforce vocabulary enriched sentences. If you intentionally want to impress your readers with big words, remember there is a great risk for you to misuse of strong impressive words. So be careful and be clear.

The goal of your article must be to communicate your feelings and thoughts to your readers. So be focused and concise with your views and thoughts as well. If you want to express several ideas in one article, try to write them in manageable writing pieces or article blocks. In this way, your readers will not confuse and enjoy your writing. Rule #3 – Keep It Simple But Interesting

Always remember every time writing an article for your Web Pages or blog, you are communicated with the online audience. So it is very important to keep your article quite easy and simple that everyone can understand. Write in a way that even a layman for your topic will understand your thoughts and views. Most likely, the majority readers will be those who are in search of detailed information on a particular topic.

Give a life to your article by sharing additional information. What else if you share your first hand experience? Share with your audience whatever new ways and ideas you discover. By putting such efforts to your article even with an old subject, your readers will not only appreciate but also share their feelings towards the topic more comfortably.

Rule #4 – Edit Edit Edit

You need to have a strong emphasize to edit your article. At least read through it with five times before you publish it on the web. Misspellings and poor grammars will keep your readers away after their first visit. Proofread your article, try to use a grammar and spell checker tool if you have one. Keep a focus on quality of content rather than quantity. I will suggest you to have someone look at your article before you publish it. He or she will look at it with a different perspective that will definitely help to improve the article quality.

Rule #5 – Be Careful With the Selection of Your Words  

Words make the entire article by setting the mood and between the lines' story of your topic. So word selection is probably the most important rule. Your words will represent your image. Use such words, which are very specific to the topic in order to avoid misinterpretations. This rue applies as well when you are forming your article title or header as it is the first element of your article that captures the reader’s attention. Be careful with titles and avoid misleading your audience.

Your writing skill can improve considerably just by researching and reading good blogs. World Wide Web is full of many inspirations to help you on your writing journey. Take benefit from your readers' comments and give respect if then mention any mistake. 

Consider these rules as a beginners guide. You will ultimately learn more with experiences. So the last but not the least advice is to just have fun with your writing and write, write and write.
